Portrait of Dr. Virendra Agrawal

About

For more than three decades, Dr. Virendra Agrawal has been at the forefront of modern ophthalmology in Rajasthan, combining academic excellence, surgical innovation and the early adoption of advanced eye-care technologies.

An alumnus of the prestigious Dr. R.P. Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi, Dr. Agrawal completed his MD in Ophthalmology in 1993 and was awarded the Bodh Raj Sabarwal Gold Medal for Best Postgraduate Student. He also holds DNB and MNAMS qualifications and subsequently served for five years as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at SMS Medical College, Jaipur.

His career has been distinguished not simply by the number of years he has practised ophthalmology, but by his contribution to bringing newer surgical technologies and techniques to patients in Rajasthan. From IOL implantation and phacoemulsification to micro-incision cataract surgery, LASIK, Femto Laser and SMILE — the technology has continued to evolve, and so has his approach to vision correction.

Today, as Medical Director & Chief Consultant of Perfect Vision – Dr. Virendra Laser & Phaco Surgery Centre, Jaipur, his focus remains on combining decades of surgical experience with contemporary diagnostic and surgical technology.

Every eye is different. The right procedure is the one that fits your cornea, your lens, your retina and the way you use your vision every day — not the one that is most advertised. Technology supports the decision; it never replaces the clinical evaluation.
