The first 24 hours
Vision is often hazy immediately after surgery and settles gradually. Prescribed drops must be started exactly as instructed and the first review is usually on the following day.
Precautions that matter
Avoid rubbing the eye, avoid dust and untreated water, and follow the drop schedule. Report pain, increasing redness or a sudden drop in vision immediately.
